SAW FLUX SJ101 is a kind of agglomerated flux with F- Basicity slag series, It is suitable for the Submerged-Arc Welding of low carbon and low alloy steel. It can be also used for the quick welding of pipe steel. It has good S and P removal and antirust ability. This flux shows good fabrication and weld-ability. It has good slag detachability even for the narrow gap and deep groove welding. The welding metal has good toughness and high anti-coldness and anti-cracking quality. By matching with different wire, it can be used for the welding of high strength steel.
1. Applications: in combination with the welding wire type: H08A;H08MnA;H08MnMoA;H08Mn2 ( DIN 8557 S1;S2;S2Mo,S4 or AWS A5.17 – EL12;EM12K;EA1;EM14 ETC.). This flux is suitable for welding of low alloy steels for important products, such as boilers, pressure vessels, pipelines etc. it is also suitable for multiple wire submerged arc welding, especially for butt welding of large diameter vessel with one-pass on both sides.

4. Guidelines of usage:
(1.) --- dry the flux at 300 – 350℃ for 2 hours before use.
(2.)—completely remove rust, oil and dirt from the groove surface prior to welding.
